Wheel Adapters

are wheels adapters a good idea?..from 5/112 to a 5/114...are they even sade to use? cause i bought a set today for 200 for a set of 18"s that needed them..i dont know seems kinda unsafe to me let alone illegal in FL...thanks..G

I've never heard of "wheel adapters." What are they?

In this case, I believe we're talking about spacers that allow you to use wheels on your car that have the wrong offset, but they can also be more elaborate things that look like hubs.
