Fisker Coachbuild is going to launch a brand new car at 2007 Geneva Motor Show. The company was founded by Henrik Fisker, once design director at Aston Martin, the designer of DB9 and V8 Vantage.
The car will be priced arround $100000 and only 400 units a year will be made.
Since now, Fisker has coachbuilt bodies on existing chassis from Mercedes and BMW. The 2006 Fisker Tramonto is based on a Mercedes-Benz SL chassis, is a two-seat convertible, delivering 610 horsepower and 0-60mph in just 3.6 seconds.
The top speed is is electronically limited to 202mph. The 2006 Fisker Latigo CS is based on a BMW 6-Series. The Latigo has an output of 500 hp, it can
sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds and has a top speed of 155 mph.
