Which brand/model has the lowest cabin noise?

I heard some unjustified claims saying the Lexus and Toyota has the lowest cabin noise of all.

It would be useful if luxury car makers would include cabin noise figure at dB, at, say, 60mph.

Experts, any idea? Which brand and which car in particular has to lowest of the low cabin noise? Can be a Maybach, can also be a toyota crown?

Thanks very much in advance.

Different tires will attribute a lot to cabin noise. On my other car i had Yokohama DBS tires - was very quiet ride.

I hear it's pretty quiet in a Lincoln Town Car Hearse, at least, the occupant never seems to complain.

All I can say is that the 1998 LS400 I used to drive for some time was a similar quality ride (smoothness and quietness considered) as my current 2001 E320.

Both companies made advances in their technologies by now, so I am sure which company is ahead now, but it seems like they are competing head-to-head, not really letting anybody take the market in this regard. Merc just seems to advertise this factor less than Lexus.

BTW, I used to find the name Lexus to be so beautiful. But after I found out that it stands for "Luxury EXport US", this ruined everything for me. I can't even look at those cars anymore.

92% of all people suck at math. I am a part of the 9% who don't.

Current Cars:
2008 ML320 CDI 4MATIC (W164) - Silver/Black
2008 C230 4MATIC (W204) - White/Black

Past Cars:
2002 E320 (W210) - Silver/Black - Sold due to rust

In the cabin of my 1990 420SEL, you can't hear the motor at all (remember, it's a 4.2L V-8). As a test, I whispered to my wife, "pretty quiet huh?" this was at 100 mph. She just smiled.
