CK ENG.\Trouble Codes

I'm having some minor issues with my beloved C280 ['98 grey\grey with 99k mi.]
I'm having a re-occurring issue with the Check Engine\Trouble Light. My code reader shows codes 0170 & 0173:

"Right [& Left] cylinder mixture adaptation reaches limit value?"

What does this mean? Is my fuel mixture too rich? I have noticed a bit of hesistation upon take-off from a full stop. Is this to worry over? What's my fix?
I have seeen the warning come & go at seemingly random occurances.

Any advice is welcome.
Thanks & happy motoring all!
