they have been using the STR-8 in the dodge vipers years before the marrage benz and chrystler.

That's the way I understand it too - that the Vipers are, and always have been, V-10s. I wonder why they stopped there, and didn't just make them V-12s?

Does anyone know if they have evolved over the years, as in Bore X Stroke, Compression, or Displacement? And what about the Camshaft configuation?

I also think that the SRT8 is new for the 2006 model year. However, their 5.7L HEMI is not only available in the 300C and Charger, but also in some Dodge trucks and certain Jeep Cherokees.
