that fact that it is timeless. No matter how old it is, it still creates a powerful presence wherever it is. There are not many other cars that claim that.

After more than just a few years of MB ownership, I would have to say, along with the cars themselves, the MB culture and experience.

I was just at the dealer yesterday to get a free car wash(one of the ownership perks) + $5 tip to the guys; and speaking with my friend and sales guy about a small crack in the wood of my steering wheel. He's totally on it, as opposed to taking my Town and Country to the Dodge dealer ...because they (Chrysler/Gov't) closed all the local Chrysler dealership. Night and day regarding customer mentality.

Plus, as mentioned in an earlier post, the pride of ownership culture and the presence of the Benz. The original owner of my 380 told me, "I always felt special driving this car." Amen.

Enjoy the drive, gentlemen.

Money isn't everything, but it keeps the kids in touch.

I know it's a five year oild thread but ....

Build quality. My 23 year old car still feels new. I look forward to driving it every day. I far prefer it to my wife's 2008 E320.

My Benz is mid size but fits in compact parking space. It's actually an SUV in disguise.
