Which of these cars is the good one ?

Heres what "good" means to me.. a good engine zippy and lively. good economy and a car I can go around and be more of a transporter than a HEadache or nuance..so good economy and low maintanence and few repairs and just be as non-probmatic to me and I 'll be happy ! . Here were my choices..

a) G35
b) GS300
c) w220-style s430
d) honda accord

Well, any of you have any opinions ? I drove the w220, felt comtfotable and liked it but the car wasn't as fast or zippy you can guess why...

How big is the difference between the 420 and the 500, because the engines are the same design and the only difference is the 0.8 of a litre?

The difference in number is 275 hp @ 5,750 rpm and 295 lb-ft @ 3,000 - 4,400 rpm for the 430 and 302 hp @ 5,600 rpm and 339 lb-ft @ 2,700-4,250 rpm for the 500. That is more power available earlier with a broader power band. Very useful when dealing with the heavier S-Class. Trust me, the 500 engine doesn't disappoint.

You can't have fast, cheap AND reliable. You only get to pick two of the three.

G35 MT if you don't need a lot of room or 4 doors.
Accord V6 coupe/sedan MT if you don't mind FWD.
the GS300 and S430 will probably only feel fast at highway speeds but you get a better "status" factor with them. GS300 if you want reliability, S430 if you want more of a pimp factor. =)
