The World's Fastest Sedan

Ever wonder who manufacture the world's fastest sedan? A car manufacture or a high end car tuner?

The fastest in the world is a E-Class Brabus V12 Bi-Turbo with 600 Hp.

I think the Maserati Quattroporte would be a good base for a tuner. Smaller and lighter than the E class, and already has goodies like a sequential paddle shifter. Would be interesting to see.

I love the E V12.

Teutone-- IMO, I don't think such a light car would be good at high speeds. Unless it has a ton of downforce on it.

Sure, and what about ground effect?

I'm not sure I know what you mean by "ground effect." After all, I only do drifts on my trike.

Ground effect was started by Lotus in 78 or 79 in their (or better said 'under') F - 1 cars. It was later abolished by the F-1 governing body because of too high cornering speeds. It is channeling air in a way to create a vacuum under the car and increase downforce in multiples. I think the 959 Porsche had it. BTW, I added the link to another cool Ferrari video to the off topic Ferrari / Paris thread.

Now I get it. I was thinking about it for a while, and the Lotus Elise (?) came up. At least I think it was the Elise.
