honestly - may be not a good spot - too far, too secluded - some drunk can use your car to take a leak.

Unless thats the entrance to the parking lot.

A good spot I think!. I always do a risc calculation when parking my car.
A funny thing here in Sweden is if a put my car far away in a such spot, often some other car has parked next to mine when I come out and are going home.

Actually, one or two lanes down is the entrance to the employee's parking lot which was very well petrolled by security and I could see the car from my hotel window (lucked out on that).

I also like to park at the end of a row to reduce the chance of being dented (but then there may be a tree next to my car and the birds will, you know...). If I have to park in a less safe stall, I will try to park my car carefully in the middle of the stall so as to allow reasonable space to the cars parking next to me on both sides (some people park so carelessly that their wheels are actually over the stall boundaries, and when they kick their doors open.............). Even so, my cars have been dented a few times. I think when people do not love and respect their own properties, they usually also do not love and respect other people's properties.
I believe if all of us keep on educating other drivers that we know about the need to drive and park responsibly, our overall chance of getting dinged will gradually reduce.

Way to go. One of the few things I like about wheel chrome arches is that I rather have them dinged than the paint.

My sentiments alike.

I too park as far away from anyone else as possible. The people who ride with me think I'm paranoid but they just have to remember who's driving. Most of the time, I'll offer to drop them off in front of the entrance and park the car myself. This way, I'll take my own sweet time and choose what I would consider a perfect spot. This way, I don't have to listen to "hey, that's a spot, why don't you park here?" or "this car is pulling out ........" etc. etc.

I've told many people, "my car wants to be alone!" (like Greta Garbo, got it?)

Past ride:

Yes, I agree with parking next to other expensive cars because most likely, their owners would be very careful as well. However, sometimes by the time you pick up your own car, you car's neighbours have already left and some ugly cars have taken their spots. That just makes me upset. I would carefully examine my car for dents and pray to find none. But what can one do? Ugh.........
