Outside Mirrors

Call me crazy but ever since the recall of the airbag and then replacing it, When i turn on my car the passenger rearview mirror moves downwards...stays there for like 10 seconds and then resets. I believe this started after getting the airbag redone or maybe ive never noticed it. Has anyone ever had this happen?

RE: Outside Mirrors

Hello from a new poster! My CLK 320 passenger mirror did this automatically to assist when backing. If I recall correctly, there's a way to override this function, but since I no longer have my CLK, I'm not quite sure how it's done.

RE: Outside Mirrors

If you want to turn this off. Go to where you adjust your mirror and you have 2 buttons that select what mirror you want to adjust. Click the button to adjust the driver side mirror and it will turn the back up function off. To turn it back on just click the selector for passenger side and when you put your car in reverse your mirror will go down.
