Brake Pad Light & Emergency Brake Light Come on when I come to stop

2001 ML320. Can anyone help me with this. When I come to a full stop and my foot is on the brake, the brake pad light and emergency brake light come on. I had the pads checked and there is more than enough meat on them. The car brakes fine and there is enough brake fluid in the car. Any ideas on what this problem can be. Also, if I put the car into park or neutral or move the steering wheel left or right the lights go out but then come back on. 2001 ML320

I don't suppose we could bother you to tell us what kind of car you have.

Sounds like a short on the pad wear sensor.Whomever checked the pads for sevicability should have checked them at the same time.
