Owners Manual Needed

Hi,
I just purchased a 2001 SL 600. The car came with no owners manual (s) Please let me know the best place to purchase them. Hopefully online, I live way out of any town.

RE: Owners Manual Needed

Call your nearest dealer, give them your VISA number, they'll gladly mail one to you.

Or if you purchased from a dealer, even if it wasn't a Benz dealer, make them get it for you.

I agree let them get it for you. If not next time you go for service to a mb dealer ask them to order it for you so that you dont have to pay shipping on it. the manual is cheap compare to the shipping.

MB has online interactive owners manuals such as this one for the S-class: http://www4.mercedes-benz.com/e/cars/s-class/betriebsanleitung/vertiefen/bedienenimdetail15a.html

I'm sure they have them for the SL too.

RE: Owners Manual Needed

My dealer ordered me one after my recent purchase. It took a while because "it had to come from Germany."

Best thing about the manual, and I mean hands-down best thing: the images throughout the book have the same exterior paint color as my car; the elusive green. When I opened that black pouch and saw a beautiful green wagon on the cover, I was shocked. That's class (even if it is just a simple pre-press trick)!
