RE: Ipod integration for CLK
alright you might laugh at this but music is a huge part of my life so I go after whats sounds the best and is easy and cost effective:
I have an invertor under my passenger seat that powers two sets of Logitech Z-2200 speakers. The two eight inch subwoofers are on the ground behind the front seats and the speakers are mounted above the back seats on the rather large sill that my year/model benz has. The front speakers are under the dash on either side.
Concealing the wires took some creativity but it works fine and the sound is KILLER = 400 watts of very balanced and pure sound - Emperor in that is Norwegian musical supremacy at it's finest ;)
Each set cost about 120 US dollars, and obviously integration of an ipod or mp3 cd player which I have is really easy, since they are self powered. Again - you might laugh, but you can't argue with the sound, and it looks fine to me I don't care what anyone says.
