Gonna buy a 00' ML430 Carfax needed and advise

New to the forum. Just went and looked at a 00' ML430. Very nice but have some questions.
1st - Can someone give me a carfax report on this VIN?

Wondering: I offered him $14k for it. It has 114,000 miles, 20" wheels and is in good shape. The 3 things that bother me are, there is a small hole in the leather on the console. Look like a pencel poked a hole in it. Also the rear passenger side seat has the leather rubbed pretty good on the top corner of the seat where he has been folding it down and using it for cargo, about a inch long. The last concern for the interior is the carpet. Of course, it has the light grey carpet. It has many stains, bascially from being such a light colored carpet. Where do I get new carpet if I can't get the stains out? Is there a web site for parts??
Is this a good deal for this ML? Most of the other ML's in Atlanta are $15k+ without new wheels or additional accessories, but like I said it has it's flaws on the inside.

Next, I have read somewhere about abnormal oil consumption from Mercedes cars and trucks. Something like 1 quart per 1000 miles. That sounds crazy to me. I hate when cars burn oil. Is this really common?

Finally, Per Edmunds.com the ML430 gets 15-19 mpg. So I figure about 17mpg on average.
What are your average mileages that you guys get from your ML's?

Thanks in advance,

my 2000 ml430 gets about 15 mpg. It has 20" wheels with oversized tires, (larger diameter and less rotations per mile) I think the engine has to work harder in order to get it up to speed.I think if i put stock diameter tires back on it the mpgs may improve.

I'm almost hopeful that by now, nearly five years later, the original poster has resolved his questions, but thanks for your input anyway, very informative.
