just curious, anyone know the dimensions for the biturbo? also curious of the c55amg's engines dimensions.

also curious about the engine code (i.e. SR20) for the sl65 (biturbo) and C55.

are you trying to put one into another car? i think the engine alone cost about 30-40 grand.

I know it will fit in an E class. brabus makes an E class with the biturbo v12 in it.

that e-class was a 5.5 wasnt it? i meant the 6.0 as used in the sl65.

considering that photo of the engine says BRABUS 6.3 biturbo I would think it is a modified 65 engine.

Brabus didn't use AMG's engine as a base, but the normal 6OO V12 Biturbo engine from MB.
I doubt you could fit one in a C-classe, as I know that Brabus EV12 did go through a lot of modification to squeeze that engine in there.
Anything is possible, if you have the $$$, but it would be a hugely difficult job I think.

ahh yeah, 600 5.5 V12 put out to 6.3.

e classes come in e55's right? thats a 5.4...

i thought the c class, well, the 8cm longer c55amg anyway, should take the 65 engine with only a little bit of under-bonnet modification...

heh the first C 65 K AMG (yes, k, as in 2 superchargers to take the place of the turbos).

by the way, here in australia the sl65 is AUD$455,900 retail excluding options when a C55 is AUD$160,490 retail excluding options... so for the cost of an sl65 i could have the ultimate amg 65 powered c-class...

ok then thats going in my dream cars heheh...
