Dashboard light

Hey,
Sorry guys but I'm another stupid person who desn't know much about cars and recently in my MB a light came on and I don't know what it means. My car is a 88 300CE and I don't have the manual. The light has a picture of a tank with two pipes coming out of it and there is liquid in waves at the bottom. If you gusy could suggest what it means or give me a good site that I could try to identify what it means it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

RE: Dashboard light

Don't really know, but sounds like washer fluid or radiator warning...? Try mbusa.com to see if you can find some help. Or call your local MB service department.

Owners manual is inexpensively available from your dealer.

RE: Dashboard light

Low coolant. Engine cooling liquid. Add some in the plastic expansion tank in front of your battery. The one with a radiator cap. Then check for leaks.

Don't add just water. Use proper cooling liquid.
