Best-looking console-dash

Not only are Mercedes some of the best-looking cars in the automotive market today, they also have some of the best-looking interiors. In particular, the dash-console arrangements of the CLS, E, and SL. Those are my favorites anyway. It's actually an impediment to my purchasing an S because I don't think they have it quite right in either the outgoing or the new models. I particularly like the continuity, fluidity even, between the two (dash and console), well okay I'll shut up now and link a few photos [:p]

Any other nominations?

The lines are great here.
The new S class has lost the fluidity unfortunately.

And you all know what I mean.

[:(!] Marsden, you're making me wish we got the E-Class, but some barstard got to it before we could.

Yeah the E is actually the most-integrated design of dash & console... the vertical lines are carried up past the HVAC controls and resolve nicely in the audio speaker above. (Although the SL is still very slick with its radical slope [:)] )

Yeah I like wood too. And these are incredibly beautiful veneers on these cars!

I always liked the Rover 75's interior. Shame the rest of the car wasn't as good.[:I]

I personally find this dash rather appealing.

I've got about about 2 hrs in an SR-22, I was less than impressed. I suppose once you've tried turboprops...
