I need a 12 step MBA program also. Today I walked into the dealer looking forward to buying a 2007 S600. Sadly, I won't able to get one until we get back from Bangkok.

But maybe my addiction is not all that bad. We have homes in Bangkok and the US...so a couple of cars in each place is not all that bad....is it?
Corkscrew, you are one lucky bastard to be able to afford the cars you desire. I hope it may continue for the rest of your life!

All the best.

My wife just tells everyone we know, or everyone we meet, that if they see me at a car lot to stop and scream that there is no more room in the driveway.
Actually going to sell my house and get a new one where there's more room for cars. That's not a symptom is it?

mcbear, I can relate! My wife says we have enough and where would we put a forth? But, I keep looking - like you.....

LarryD, I felt like you do and asked the wife if we could get a 560SL. She said yeah, if you can find one that matches my eyes! No problem, hello Autotrader!! I had an 87 420 SEL like yours and loved that big luxo-sedan. Boy, did I pour $$ into that baby! And, I've always yearned for that super coupe: 560 SEC

Who knows what's on the horizon.....

That is what I am doing, too. So scary. I need a place to put her.

HOUSE WITH 8 CAR GARAGE, COMPACT

I am developing this layout for an under 5,000 SF design to keep my 'collection' intact in Austin. I will need more storage off site, or add another 6 car garage on property for the rest.
This is a compact design based on Italian/French prototype where the ground floor was traditionally used to house animals, for storage, carriages, etc.
Here, I am using it for cars. It also contains a Den, one Bedroom (for inlaws, etc.)and small Kitchen with Laundry.
Elevator and interior stairway takes you upstairs or use the double stairs outside to take you to second floor main living area.
Smaller version under construction with 4 car garage @ 3,800 SF, see rendering. More info here: http://www.dreamhomedesignusa.com/french_provincial.htm

(For all of you wondering how to store your many Benz's!)

RE: HOUSE WITH 8 CAR GARAGE, COMPACT

Now THAT'S a house! Awesome! I could definitely live there.

However, I'd reconsider having to go through the laundry room (or outside) to get from your cars to your living space...

The rendering looks genuinely Palladian, unlike most of the crap builders call Palladian. Congrats.
