W123 indicators not flashing

The indicators click once when activated and no more (do not flash). The hazard (warning) indicator still works when the button in the centre console is pressed, If, as I suspect, the flasher unti needs relacing, is this contained in the hazard switch body and the whole unit needs replacing?

Drop down to the 123 posts. Most of the flasher unite are under the hood. It is a plug-in unit. Are all your bulbs good and grounded? Check your fuse box for a diagram and then replace the fuse even if it looks to be okay. It's a good idea to clean up the fuses anyway if the car sits out. [:D]

It's enough. Looks like you have the same setup as my car (1979 280E), which means that you will have to replaced the whole thing. The relay is part of the switch on our cars.

RE: W123 indicators not flashing

Thanks, that was my suspicion as the single click comes from the hazard switch - only wasn't sure why the hazard lights (all 4 indicators) are still flashing fine?
