Anything wrong with this car?

http://www.autotrader.com...

Would like to know before I invest if anyone can tell.

Also I want to spice it up a little and give the car it's own flavor.

I KNOW I want this car for a fact, just due to the preformance numbers, (and the drive), but the visuals just don't do it for me on the 2003 the 05 is AMAZING on the other hand but super pricey. So forget it.

I can spend maybe 3k on mods, and 800$ will go to put on the 2005 CLEAR head lamps. I'm just REALLY not feeling the visuals.

I'm a fan of the CLS500/55, and the C230K but I don't want to make it look SLOWER.

What are some ideas, the idea is to make it look show car quality...

I'm a fan of Brabus, and Lorinser, but I don't like their body kits.

Anyway give me your sugdestions before I say too much.

RE: Anything wrong with this car?

I just ran the wholesale numbers. There have been few sales of this model but a 31,000 mile car brought $31k. A 47,ooo mile car brought $29k. If the car is clean and has a clean history the $33k asking price is not unrealistic. That's only 2k over actual wholesale-not the pie in the sky book numbers!
Good luck on your purchase!

I agree... offer them $30K cash... then find a wide-open road somewhere... you're gonna need it [8D]

BTW I have dealt with LM (even though I did not buy there) and I came away thinking they were professional & decent dealers. Good luck & let us know what happens!

RE: Anything wrong with this car?

You could probably get a comparable S500 for $5k or $10k less.[?]

If you want more of a sport look, there are great deals to be had on a little older SL500s. That would be my choice hands down.

Yeah man you can do quite a bit visually with that car, I would say that as long as everything is sound and you are happy with it get it and do your mods to make it your benz, like I am doing [:)]
