Sounds like the receiver is not working on that side. If that CLK is like mine there is a clear window in the door handle. See if that is broken, cloudy or dirty. If none of those that car probably needs a part (internal receiver, dunno what MB calls it).

cool, thanks. Dealer just called me and said it works now and dont know why it didnt work last night. So im assuming your theory is probably right, that part is prbly going to fry soon.

You're welcome. If you are seriously considering buying that car, ask them what it took to fix it.

they said they didnt do anything, they just tried it again and it worked. when i was playing with it for 10 min. it didnt work. I had to walk over to the passenger said to unlock. Maybe it was dirty.
