There have been a couple of threads on this w/in the past six months. You might search around. From what I recall it is a hell of mess and very difficult to do. It is not just a light bulb, it involves a very complex setup behind the dash. Some guy in FL actually specializes in fixing them, but you have to pull the guts of your dash and send it to him. As I recall, he charged $450 to repair and return it.
I just remember thinking "if this happens to me I will save-up my money--a lot of it--and call the dealer." There were even photos in one of the threads of what needed to be done. Unless it is really causing you a major problem, I'd try to live w/ it.
