Engine Light

I recently replaced my air filter with a k&n, after reading some of the posts on here i was ready for my engine light to turn on, that was about a week ago. Day before yesterday I replaced my spark plugs and was driving normally down the road when my check engine light came on. I took it to autozone and they gave me the following reading

P1519 Idle Speed Control
P0105 Map Circuit Malfunction

I was curious if they are related to the mass air filter? If so I could you tell me where it is located? Thank you so much in advance

RE: Engine Light

Not sure but I've read at least 3-4 threads in here that attribute MAF's getting fried (okay... that's an exaggeration... they just break) not long after installing the K&N increased air flow ... air filters. Heard it enough times to know I sure as hell won't buy one.

The MAF meter is on the fat tube between your air filter housing and the engine intake manifold. Can't miss it. It's the only thing there.

Let us know how it works out and good luck!

Z

P.S.... fill out the rest of your info so we know what year and model you're driving...duh... you answered that already...LOL
