Just like Lynns, you claim to disagree with my point, yet the rest of your post supports it. So you believe general computer expertise is more important than following the directions? Seriously? What level of expertise would allow you to go on gut instinct alone, thus not requiring the directions at all? At what level of expertise would you be able to sort it all out with common sense and work-arounds?
I've completed the install, and have a great deal of computer expertise. I completed it by following difficult install instructions to the letter, which did not require any expertise at all.
It is my opinion that no one, regardless of general computer expertise, can complete the install without the instructions, but that with enough determination and attention to detail, anyone can complete the install with the instructions. You disagree, we each have our own experiences, I suppose.
