RE: WRX and Evo

yep, both f'ugly.

but Subaru have rebuilt their brand entirely around the Impreza, and a f'ing good job they've done of it. everybody knows that the interiors of these cars suck! do not ever make a direct comparison with MB on that score!
a friend of mine's father had one of the first ever STis (around 1996?) in the days when you had to take it to ProDrive yourself to spec the WRX conversions.
he chose a White one, with raised ground clearance and 18" Gold Magnesium Speedlines...

and in the UK if you put the anything other than Shell Optimax fuel in the MR FQ400 you void the warranty! not to mention the turbo lag...

gimme a Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evolution II any day!

RE: WRX and Evo

I used to love the REX but the new front ....... I don't think they did a good job of it. The new EVO is a bit wrong as well, but from all accounts Mitsubishi have gone overboard with new electronic diffs and torque distributors. This makes the EVO slightly better, so I've heard. I haven't been in one for a few years.

Evo gets my vote.

RE: WRX and Evo

I'll take the 'original' impreza (not the early early 1994 model, but the 1998 one) over those two anytime.

The car looks much more raw than they do now. I once got a ride in it, with my uncle, and f**ck what car! It shakes your spine to hell, but the experience is wonderfull. I just love how the turbohole just instantly disappears around 3000 rpm. what a kick!

(I'd like to have a station wagon, or the famous 22B coupe one day...)

190evo, Yes those Delta's look absolutely stunning. The styling is to die for, and they are extreme little bombs...[:p]

RE: WRX and Evo

22B - definitely the best Scooby ever!

they had to build a whole new paint-line in the factory for it because it was too wide to fit through the normal Impreza line...!

RE: WRX and Evo

Those pics of the Impreza & the Evo, The evo looks much better! I think its the camera angle on the Scooby that lets it down. I still prefer it though![:D][:D]and that integrale looks CLASS!!
