Which is better for my Benz?

A 99 C230k with low mileage and pristine condition. I want it kept that way for the longest time. I dont even take it out in the rain!

Which is better....

I drive it mostly on Thursdays - sundays and the rest of the time it sits. During those driven days it does a average total of 100 miles.

Is it better for a car to sit more to "preserve" it or drive everyday?

If you are driving it a couple of times a week then IMO you are not doing anything that will harm the car.
If all the mileage is short trip driving then I would use it for longer trips as time allows to keep the engine from getting gunked up.

I would drive it. Its a nice car but modern benz do date and depreciate in value quite a lot. Look after it but drive it and get you moneys worth out of it. If you want to have one to pamper get a Cosworth 16v or a 500E. Every year you keep one of these they will appreciate in value while being sought after by those in the know.

How can you possibly enjoy a car when you are afraid to drive it? Drive the darn thing and really enjoy it!
