Detroit Auto Show

I went to the show yesterday. Great cars, big crowd. I sat in the new G-class (AMG). Really liked it except it seemed like the steering wheel inserts were plastic wood look alikes and not real wood. Did not car for that, but otherwise some nice looking MB's.

RE: Detroit Auto Show

Sweet. I wish I could go to the Detroit Auto Show. That's okay since we have our own auto show here in Grand Rapids.

thats cool. Auto Shows are the best. No pressure of salespeople, lots of free stuff... Very cool.

Yeah, what annoys me though is getting yelled at for messing around with the cars (nav, sat radio, air suspension[:D], horn, headlights, etc.)[:D][:D][:D]

Our auto show here in West Michigan is held every year (duh), and the vendors are given awards for the best looking displays, most user friendly displays, etc.

BMW always wins. I like MBs displays, but Lexus seems the best to me. Lexus always have the cars plugged in so you can mess around with the electronincs. Luckily MB doesn't do that, because they have S-Classes there with Keyless Go, and they hide the key in the glove box (locked with the valet key) and if you know how to start the car with KG, you can do it! I was temtped to do it once. It was an S65 AMG, imagine the fun I could have had.[:D][:D][:D][:D][:p][:p][:p][:p][}:)][}:)][}:)][}:)][:D][:D][:D][8D][8D][^][^][^][:D][:D]
