cigarette lighter not working / srs malfunction

This morning my cigarette lighter was not working.

Then later today I received an "SRS Malfunction" message on my console.

Is there a common fuse that controls these two items that needs to be replaced or is this just a coincidence?

Haven't a clue but I would suggest you tell people what kind of benz you are driving... year...model... etc. Think it would be very helpful in the diagnosis.

SRS Malfunction

Just got our 05 CLK320 back from A service; also had a "SRS Malfunction" showing on the display. The malfunction was the wiring harness in the steering wheel that controlled the airbag had pulled loose (from adjustment of the steering wheel?) and the harness was replaced.
