I've seen that but I still can't get any kind of answer from the dealer as to when we can actually buy one. I'd like to get my hands on a ML with that V6 engine. If you happen to run across any place.... or anyone that actually knows when we can buy these things please post. I'd be interested in knowing.

Thanks,
Z

RE: Mercedes Bluetech Diesel Engines

If its 155 kw, that would be almost 208 hp. Looks like the BLUETECH diesels hp figures are suffocating under emissions requirments.

540Nm equates to 400 lb/ft. What? See, I always thought the V6 CDI had specs around 221 hp and 370'ish lb/ft of torque. That's what they are in Europe! 20 hp more than the I6, but the very similar torque with a lower redline and horsepower peak.

So top speed will be similar to the E320 I6, but the torque will be greater. Plus the utilization of the 7G-tronic. However, I bet the horsepower peak is a bit lower, thus the torque curve is narrower.
