190E keeps cutting out

Hi all, I'm new on here! ive recently puchased an old 190E 1997cc a 1988 car ( a childhood ambition really) problem is the car runs great fo about 20 minutes, till it reaches operationg temperature then cuts out? anyone know what the problem may be? Many thanks for any help

It could a a few different things.
A bad sensor in the the fuel delevery system.
Not sure if that model had an accumulator, but it could be that.
It could also be a bad crankshaft position sensor.
It might even be a relay that gets hot and shuts the engine down. I am sure I missed a few others due to not being familiar with the 190s.

For more in depth research I would post this in the W140 (190) forum. There are some very sharp folks that hang there.

Check the fuel pump sometimes when they get hot the stop working.
