climate control problem

I could use some help PLEASE. I have a 94 E320 with climate control problems. First the ac quit alltogether so I checked all the fuses, no problem there. I pulled the blower motor out, It would hardly turn but the brushes seemed okay. I freed up the motor and reinsalled it and it worked fine for a couple weeks now the fan onlyworks on low speed. From all I've read here in these forums Mercedes and blower motors haven't found a way to peacefully coexist. Any help like wiring diagrams or advice would help. Thanks F16mech

RE: climate control problem

The blower motor also serves as the "heat sink" for the speed controller that is why they use the conducting "paste". I have heard that reduced air flow and binding can overheat the regulator. I hope it is as simple as that!
