Bosch Spark Plug wires

Does anyone know of a source for OEM bulk spark plug wires. Appparently the Bosch wires have a spcific resistance built in so no one can use "just any old wire"...but, I want to take the time to do a custom wire routing effort, so I need the bulk wire. Any help?

It's for a 380sl.

That's true, but unfortunately Bosch wires have turned into junk of late, they are now made in Spain. Use Beru wires, they're still made in Germany. Contact Ron at for a set.

RE: Bosch Spark Plug wires

This is a little off-topic but still related to wires:

Bosch wires that come on a Benz fail at approx 100k and you have to buy replacements. If you buy them from Mercedes you get Bosch wires in a nice M/B box. There is no literature or guarantee in the box but they work just fine. But why do Bosch replacement wires that you buy at a Pep Boys or AutoZone come with a lifetime replacement guarantee in the box and they cost $30 less than the ones you get at the dealer?

Okay, back on topic [:)]

RE: Bosch Spark Plug wires

You can get the correct OE Bosch wires at autozone and the like, but the main issue is that the quality of the Bosch wires has really gone downhill. I would just stick with beru and ordering from a source online.
