Lemom Law Notice
Do any of you know if Mercedes has to be put on notice to file lemom law? I know that service (agent) must be notifed, which has been done. I cannot find in the owners book if we need to notify Mercedes direct.
Mercedes does not like lemon law as they have to put buyback on title so they perfer to trade cars, but I will not lose money on a problem that was caused by mercedes. I told the service dir. that I am ready for legal if it comes it that, and really do not care what Mercedes wants. I have wasted tons of time which = money on my 2006 ML.
The end of my road came when I decided that I would give service one more chance to fix my car. After 1 week in service i got my ML and the same problems happened, and even a few more in which I have added to my list. Now my seat functions no longer work, and my heat no longer goes to temp. They get warm, but not hot as before. Side note, they replaced my seat because it was making strange sounds. Also, my rear hatch does not seal, which has been a on going issue with my car, and causes health problems.
sorry for venting, just not to happy with MB and quility at this point.
I hope they will either trade to another car or I will have to get money back. Would be much easier for myself and MB if they traded.
