Hello all I was wondering if anyone in the Philadelphia area knows of a good Mercedes mechanic I have beeen to three or four different shops through out town, and have had terrible experiences, if they fix one thing they screw up another. PLEASE HELP. I need a good mechanic in the Philly area, I have a 86 560SEC, and it needs some transmission help.
If you are willing to come over the bridge to NJ side. I strongly recommend Lee Coles & Son Garage in Mullica Hill, NJ. (they are off of exit 2 from turnpike) or about 20 minutes from Down town Philly Birds let us down area.
They have worked on all my Benz since 1983. I don't know if they are taking on any new customers, but.....
They work out of a 3 car garage behind their home.
Another good shop in NJ is Stuttgart German Car Service near the circle of Rt 70 and 206. Wolfgang only services Mercedes. You can find them on the web or dial 609-859-9050. It's about a half hour ride from the Ben Franklin Bridge (off rush hour).
Am also looking for a mechanic in Philly and wondered who you used that was terrible. Thanks.
Sarah
