If you ever put conventional tires on one, I hope you don't have a flat unless you carry a floor jack around with you in the trunk!

RE: Armored S600

i dont think this car is armored. Armored, and having bulletproof windows, are two completely different things. This car could have bulletproof windows, but that doesn't mean that the car is armored. When a car is armored, it has a lot more than bulletproof windows, such as reiforced steel plating around the bottom, sides, and gastank of the vehicle.

My cars:

BURGUNDY 1989 560 SEL (W126) - Sold

I don't have any experience with the S600, but in this picture from the same auction, you can see the rear side glass edge-on, and it does look pretty thick. Can any s600 owners tell whether or not this is the stock thickness?

Also consider that nothing is bullet-proof. It may be bullet-resistant though.

i once had an s600 sedan, and compared it straight to my s500 sedan, and the windows were exactly the same. The s600's did not appear to be any thicker.(like the one on Ebay) I do not have a coupe, but i am pretty sure that the sedans and coupe's are made with the same windows. I also do not have my s600 anymore.....

I recently bought a 1995 S600 coupe. It has been pointed out to me that this car could possibly be armored.
New2it,
Did you buy this car, or is this car on ebay the one that you are buying, or going to buy? Cuz this one on ebay is also a 1995 S600 Coupe, and the seller mentions that this car could be armored.

BLACK 1996 S500 (W140) - Sold

BURGUNDY 1989 560 SEL (W126) - Sold

If you got lost on that website, here is a direct link to their inventory.
