ML 320 questions
I just bought an 2001 ML 320 from an MB dealer. It was sold to us by a Toyota salesperson from a nearby dealership under the same owner. I mention this because he had little or no MB knowledge. He and I both assumed that if the controls were there it must be a feature of the car. When I got it home I tried the NAV system and got the message "No Navigation System Installed". In reading the manual this weekend it looks as if I simply need discs. That's easily solved. The questions I have regarding this car follow.
1. Is this the message above the one you get for the NAV system when no discs are in the CD changer? Or is there no NAV system?
2. Under the front passenger seat there are two connectors, one which looks like a TV cable connector and one very small cable of similar design. What are they for? (Nav system?)
3. There is a speaker on the side of the front passenger seat that doesn't work at all. Is that related to the radio or . . . ?
Thanks for the help. This is our first Mercedes and we're loving it.
