RE: Considering an S-class (used)

Have purchased a 2000 A8L recently.
Very impressive car. Very.
Seems faster off the line and more athletic than 140.
If you like the A8 do not even think of a 126.
The older Mercs have a solid feeling but in comparison are like dinosaurs to an A8 unless it is a Hammer or tricked.
Stock to stock sedans under the year 2000, the A8 is formidable.
The interior is superior to Benz, sorry.
And they seem more unique as there are fewer.
BUT: I will keep my 126 and 140 for as long as I can.
Each marque has its own special feel of driving, interior comfort and styling, etc.
I like driving all of my cars!
