So far this car has me mesmerized at it's sheer beauty, handling and sturdy feeling.
It reminds me of a fine Swiss watch were everything just seems to fit and work together perfectly.
I like that "fine Swiss watch" comparison... Welcome!!! (Hope I don't wear out the welcome mat.)

With 3 kids already we discovered we had another on the way. we were soon to be a family of 6. I initially looked at what we call people carriers in the UK. I was not impressed as they all seemed, in the 7 seater option cramped and, to be honest a bit 'plastic'. I hit on the idea of a 7 seater E class 320 CDI. Just picked it up this weekend and we, especially the kids love it. Its such a solid drive, drips quality and out performs most of the so called sports coupes.

Just traded in my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee limited on a 2002 C240.(last night to be exact) It's the first mercedez I've owned and I liked that Its a Daimler product. I needed something with all the options that my jeep had for a good price but in a sedan form. The gas for my jeep was killing me. After searching and searching there are very few cars that had all of the options plus some that my limited had but at a reasonable price.

I've always liked small roadsters, and admired the previous gen SLK32 and aimed to have one someday. But the new R171 overtook my plans and so I ended up with a roadster of my dreams - small, rwd, and a healthy V8 up front!

Congrat's on the C240! It is a great "little" car. You will like it better than the Jeep. And welcome to the family!!!
