Hubcentric wheels?

Any experience out there with Hubcentric wheels? Anyone buy wheels through eurotechwheels.com? I am considering these wheels for my w116. Thanks.

RE: Hubcentric wheels?

Most european cars have "hubcentric" wheels, meaning that the center of the mounting face of the wheel hub has a specific sized "ring" that the rim rests upon. The design takes most of the wheel/tire load off the lug bolts and is safer. The different sized center rings means that most Audi, VW, BMW rims cannot be fitted to a Mercedes without adpaters or machining the hubcentric rim of the wheels.

RE: Hubcentric wheels?

Your Mercedes has hubcentric wheels.

The seller is trying to assure you rather than confuse you.
