Misfire/Rough Idle 97 S420

I have a 1997 S420 with 133k miles, it has developed an engine shake that is visible when you look at the engine when the engine is running. The Check Engine light is not on. There does not seem to be any loss of power. The stealer told me they don't know what it is but for 99.75 per hour plus parts they would find the problem.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

hi, im not a mechanic, however handy. my e420, will easily throw a code if there is a issue, check yours first. go to autozone, and utilize theuir scaning tool for free, just drop down a credit x=card for collateral, no charge occrs, it is free.
2. spark plug wires , grounding, or bad plug or cat converter going out ! good luck

Have you looked at the wiring harness? I know for a fact on most 97 +/- a year or two the harness seems "fall apart". If you see any bare wires you may need to replace the engine bay harness.

CEL doesn't appear? could be the engine mountings.

I've changed, spark plugs, wires, distributor and rotor, inyectors, filters, and check CO2 ratio, and nothing. The engine mountings are new.
