yeah it was leaking oil & gas that day apparently....

i took a ride on that rail for a good distance.

Got away without a scratch. These are great cars. A witness told me he was sure i was going to do a couple flips and the car just stayed down.

How's the condition of the road, was it wet? or someone cut you off..
Where was the accident happened? FYI, I lived in Sprigfield for 12 years and I had one accident, I spun around from 495 Beltway to the exit towards Dulles Airport. It was a scary feeling [:(]the road was wet that time.

Hope your "E" will be fixed like original.

495 off-ramp, and wet conditions also... guy on my tail, hit a puddle at the bottom of the off-ramp while on my breaks... back end starts to slide out into traffic, so i gunned it to straighten out and slinged myself right up the railing instead.

I'm pretty sure the ESP and ABS helped you to straighten your path. the front suspension i'm sure took the hit most:-( [:(] Have the dealer fix it not the local shop so they know exactly what to do. I hope your insurance is not State Farm...coz they will tell you to take it to the local shop.

Good luck to you and hope everthing will be back to normal.

regards
Jim

Update

the car is totaled, so i picked up a loaded 2002 E430 4matic with 49,000 miles for 30K. It has everything availiable on it but Parktronic. Good deal?

same colors... black on java

Only thing is... u have to put the damn nav cd in the console, so u have to use the cd changer for normal cds if you want nav usuable. Hate that.
