C230K Sport Transmission issues...

I was wondering if anyone else had the same issue I did with my '05 C230 Kompressor Sport Sedan...

At about 10,000 miles..I started to puff smoke out the exhaust pipe and the transmission was slow to shift and became very jerky.

Took it to HBL (the MB center where i purchased it new) and they had it for about 3 weeks, ultimately replacing everything from the Torque Converter to the rear diff...

Found out the problem was that the factory had crossed the transmission and radiator fluid lines! So MB sprung for a new radiator for me too...

Wow was all i could say...I havent had any issues since and am still in love with the car but wow...

Plus on top of that I had the pleasure of driving a Chevy cobalt for 3 weeks with a broken a/c...

Good times.

RE: C230K Sport Transmission issues...

Ouch. Crossed the radiator and transmission lines. Wow, this may sound rude, but that is pretty funny. I kind of pity the dealerrship, lost all that replacing rear differentials and all. Well at least it was all under warrenty and you didn't get much of a hassle. Good dealerships are always sorry for that type of factory mistake as where the vad ones are like fuck you. Bet that Chevy made you love the C230 all over again. LOL. You have an automatic transmission I assume, from the torque converter.
