fixing small tint scratch?

I have a small hole in the rear left passenger window tint of my 87-sdl. Its probably a half inch long--- and a quarter inch wide. I really dont want to spend the money for a full window tint job soooooooo! Does anybody know of a simple touch up that I can perform to make the whole not as noticable as it is? Any suggestions would be highly appreceated. Hank[?]

Just graping at straws here but, There is a spray tint available (Hobby Lobby carries it or online) for model cars. I've used it to smoke taillights. If you were to mask around the missing area, I'll bet it would work. It's technically for plastic but who knows. It darkens with layered application so you'll have control over the shade. Good luck.
