water leak

Moving this from w124 forum as so one seems to have any ideas

Thanks

Hi All,

I've developed a water leak from the coolant system on my 95 E320 (M104) coupe. The odd thing is not a constant leak but the occassional dump of water. As the engine guard is in place I can't get under and have look. I need to refill the resevoir about every 120 miles depending on how much driving I do. Some times it does not leak at all, other times when I stop the engine, it leaks a whole load of water on the ground. Im having it looked at on thursday, but anyone got any ideas or had a similar issue. My thinking is a hose or waterpump problem, does not sound like a radiator issue? BTW, no engine temp problems, hovers between 80 and 95 always except for heavy traffic where it hits 100.

on another point, anyone got any suggestions for a SS exchaust for a 500 SEC in the UK?

Thanks

Redmond

RE: water leak

maybe your radiator cap is leaking. better yet try to pressurize the system and see where the leak is comming from.
