RE: Insurance BS Bait and Switch practice or true?

DUDE ITS A GECKO!!!! I mean think about a claim (if GOD FORBID your car is totaled)on a new CLS500... Do you really have full faith in Geico? Try State Farm or Farmers. They have been around longer and have their hands in insuring all sorts of things... so they can give lower premiums. At the moment I own 7 vehicles.... all with State Farm and in total I have owned over 28 vehicles (all with State Farm) and I have totaled out at least 4 of them plus a few rentals and have had some chargeable accidents.... I have NEVER had a "Bait and Switch" on rates and I have shopped around and no-one can beat the rates I am getting. I have never had any problems with claims either... And isn't that what you want? Now I need to go and knock on wood yet again....

As for me... I'm USAA all the way.
It should be mentioned that USAA doesn't sell to the general public. You must be a current or former US servicemember or a family member of a US servicemember.
is that true for all servicemen/woman/ families or just
for officers?

As a State Farm guy forever, I know they don't bait and switch. Their rates are so high, they can't[:(!]

The good news is they do provide coverage when the bad stuff happens. I guess you get what you pay for, or at least part of it.

RE: Insurance BS Bait and Switch practice or true?

so that's the key being active or active reserve?
the person in question was an army corporal, korean war vet, now retired from the service.
they seemed to tell us he was not eligible at all...
