Iridium Silver Vs. Brilliant Silver

Hi everybody. Does anyone know how Iridium Silver and Brilliant Silver are different from one another?

RE: Iridium Silver Vs. Brilliant Silver

Brilliant silver is a normal silver colour like most cars.

The Iridium silver has more of a blue tinge to it. its available on the new SLK, CLK and S class

It looks different, but personally i prefer the standard looking Brilliant Silver

RE: Iridium Silver Vs. Brilliant Silver

I have a SLK230K in Brill/silver and a SLK350 in Iridium, the Brill/silver is more blue (slightly darker)and the Iridium more silver (lighter).

RE: Iridium Silver Vs. Brilliant Silver

Thanks very much for posting your images. They really show the difference! I left a deposit about a year ago for an 06 CLK 320 Cab in Brilliant Silver. Dealer is coming through for me (and how!) with a CLK 350 Cabrio this July Fourth weekend, but said the car will be Iridium Silver. I like to name may cars. This one I'm calling "Firecracker."
