W202 AC System???

Does anyone know how to get better performance out of my ac system. Over the last two years it has been totally replaced with OEM products. I can get into almost any other car and the force of air leaving the vents is very strong...but in my car it seems weak. I have found this in almost every other mercedes...is there anything that I can do to get more force, higher air speed and stronger air movement???? Thanks.

RE: W202 AC System???

what you can try to check is wheather the vacuum line connected to the engine side is in order, otherwise try to replace the air intake filter of the a/c system and the charcoal filter if fitted with this. you can also check the blower condition, when you switch the blower to max. you will really hear a big noise from it, if not maybe the blower doesn't work well

RE: W202 AC System???

There has been a number of problems with the blower motors on those cars (and the W210). Usually the regulator starts to go. That is replaceable without having to replace the entire motor assemb.. After checking vacuum lines for cracks, and leaks, and the charcoal filter, that's where I would go next.
