water in transmission

Hi guys,
Whats the best way to flush an automatic gearbox thats had plenty of water in it, without having to pull it apart.

Drop the pan. If it ran at all ( and isn't toast ) you'll need to drain the torque converter and replace the filter too.

Have a fresh gasket handy.

Normally you can have the oil replace the oil by draining the oil on the torque converter and the oil pan drain plugs, but the oil on the cooler is still old. its alittle complicated but it can be done. some do this by removing the screw on the leftside of the coller hose and start the engine the oil which is on the cooler will be flushed out and when you see the oil comming out which is cleaner you can shut-off the engine and replace the scres back. abd don't forget to correct the oil level
