2003 500sl coolant leak

I have a 2003 500 SL with a hard to find coolant leak. It appears to be coming from the area around the coolant tank. It shows up on the ledge of the inner fender well. But I can't tell where it is coming from. Can any body help?

Thanks

My suggestion-purchase a coolant system pressure tester if you are a diy'er or have someone at a shop that you trust put a pressure test on the coolant system to find your leak. I've been in the used car business for 15 years as a hobby and have had coolant leaks drive me nuts over the years.Coolant has a tendancy to drip and flow in places that you would suspect a leak, but the leak originates from another location. The pressure test simulates operating conditions while the engine is not running and gives you a clear depection of the origin of the leak.
Hope this helps!

Hey, autonj. Junkman's giving you good advice, if you have an Autozone around they loan tools for free (basically you "buy" the tool and have 90 days to return it and they refund all your money).

Good luck! Hope it is 1) easy to find and 2) simple and cheap to fix!!
