500 sec : help me

hi
i bought a 1985 mec 500sec and the body is modify can any one tell me what is it or if they seen something like and what its call

some one call it the batmobil but if you can help i,ll send you the pictures

The first pic is a 126 sedan and the second pic is an r107 with the kit I believe you’re referring to.

I frankly don’t care for the look.

Does your car look like this now or do you want to do the mod?


Edit: Well, the SL pic won't load, but you get the idea...

What you have is a Koenig widebody conversion. If you want to sell it, I may be interested. Where are you located?

Hello,I love your car.I have an 86 twinturbo 500 sec from germany.You have to get the Koenig or BBS wheels on that baby.Good luck

Indeed, you'll need the BBS ones - these ones are too narrow.
Koenig worked with 12" wide rims for the rear... 15" diameter. Back in the mid eighties 17" rims were not common (the first production car using this diameter was the Porsche 959). Check out these (small) BB512 pics
